Notes

2016-08-28 - This entry describes an original installation of a new pipe organ. Identified by James R. Stettner, using information from this web site: http://www.pensacola-ago.org/organs/stagadfs.html.

I saw a photo of this organ on Glenda K. Sutton's Facebook page. Another viewer provided the link to the Pensacola AGO website age for the organ. Their listing states, "The organ was built by a former parishioner, Tom Bartholomew in 1991. It is 5 Ranks on Electro Pneumatic Action. The design and stop list resemble the organ on the cover of E. Power Biggs' recording of the Handel Organ Concerti. The organ is housed in a small (about 75 seats) church built in 1896, the oldest existing church building in the county. This is also the only pipe organ in Walton County. There is space prepared for the addition of future stops." -Database Manager
