2016-09-13 - An original installation. Identified by Steve Bartley, using information found in Lewis & Hitchcock service file from 1920s & 30s., Sun paper5/30/30/pg4. <br>Organ was placed in a temp chapel in the main Seminary building. The Sun Paper article said "... The new instrument has two manuals. The sound is mellow and the muted tones are beautiful. The dedication concert included Bach's St. Anne's Fugue, Mendelssohn sonata of In Deepest Need I Cry, and Vivaldi's Concerto Grosso in D Minor, with the Max Reger's Te Deum as the final number. This on an organ with one 4 stop, a flute as the upper work and a Flugel Horn as the Reed. In 1955 the main chapel was completed and this instrument was moved to 2nd Baptist Church, Falls Church VA., then to a private residence, Norfolk VA, in 1981 s -Database Manager
