2016-10-18 - This entry describes an original installation of a new pipe organ. Identified by William Dunklin, using information found in a vintage postcard. <br>A postcard from about 1910 shows a simple pipe fence facade within a pointed arch. The facade is a single flat of 25 decorated pipes. Below the impost is simple frame and panel casework. There is no upper casework. The attached console is visible in the photo, but the lid is closed. The church website features several modern photographs showing the organ facade is still present and in excellent condition, but status of the instrument itself is unknown. Please note this building is not the same as New Hurley Dutch Reformed Church also in Wallkill. -Database Manager
2022-07-25 - The original Organ was an Odell. There is no electronic substitute, it is NOT a hybrid. It is a poor quality rebuild that replaced the original console with an AGO console. -William Grant Chapman
