Notes

2017-05-04 - This entry describes a new home for an organ that was relocated without either tonal or mechanical changes.
Identified by James R. Stettner, who maintains the organ.
This is a 4-rank Kilgen 'Petit Ensemble' with Gedeckt, Violin Diapason, Dulciana, and Vox Humana. Its previous (original?) home is unknown. When Mr. Barr passed away in 2015, the organ was acquired by Jason Klinger, also of Buffalo, NY, who then installed it in his own home. Mr. Klinger moved to Oregon in 2016. The organ was advertised for sale in several online venues prior to the move, but with no success in selling it. So it was dismantled and moved to storage in Hillsboro, and again advertised for sale. It was subsequently purchased in late February, 2017 by Mark & Terry Reitz of Quilcene, WA. and installed in their home. The organ was removed from storage on March 2, 2016 by Mark Reitz assisted by Michael A. Way of Puget Sound Pipe Organs. Mark Reitz built a new platform extension for the pedalboard and bench. Future plans include moving the added 16' Bourdon pipes to a position behind the case, and adding the 8' Violin Diapason bass octave, as well as an 8' octave to the (tc) Vox Humana. -Database Manager

2017-05-05 - Updated by James R. Stettner, who maintains the organ.
There is a 16' Vox Humana that had been made playable by added switches by a previous owner. The owner is hoping to bridge the gap between the (tc) 8' Vox Humana and the 16' extension and have it playable full-compass in the Pedal. -Database Manager
