2017-05-04 - This entry describes an original installation of a new pipe organ. <br>Identified by Steven Bartley, citing information from this publication: Baltimore Sun 4/21/1963 pg4.<br>Central Presbyterian Church was built in 1855, and burned in July 1873.<br>The Sun Paper article included the specification and these details. <br>2 manuals,two octaves of pedals, 13 tall x 15 wide x 11-6 deep, cost $2500, Corinthian case design. 8 speaking stops on Gt, 5 speaking stops on Sw (3 sw bass stops), 2 pedal stops. The congregation built a new building on Eutaw Place & Dolphin St. -Database Manager
