2017-11-11 - This entry describes an original installation of a new pipe organ.
Identified by Ken Houser, who has heard or played the organ.
I played this organ on November 4,2017. It needs work but is very much playable. I assume the organ was installed in 1929 when the current church was built. -Database Manager

2020-11-24 - I recieved the following information from a reputable source: The organ was struck by lightning late last year and suffered extensive damage. The original control system was completely destroyed. The organ had suffered decades of neglect with no major repairs/rebuilds and no regular maintenace. Windchests and reservoir were running on original leather which was failing. Ciphers and dead notes were a weekly problem, including entire divisons ciphering at once. The console was completely worn out and combination action non-functional. A complete restoration was necessary to return the organ to proper functionality. Due to a lack of funding caused by the coronavirus pandemic, the decision was made to replace the instrument with a large digital replacement at a third of the restoration cost. This project is nearing completion. The pipework and other pieces of value have been preserved in a church in New Jersey -Colin O'Malley
