2023-04-01 - The organ was removed from the Chief Theatre before it was demolished in 1973. It was moved to the City Auditorium by the Pikes Peak chapter of the American Theatre Organ Society. City Auditorium was built in 1923 with organ chambers around the procenium arch, but no organ. Other than being rearranged to fit the chambers, it remains in completely original condition. -Daniel Wicks
