2008-07-06 - Updated through online information from James R. Stettner. -- Choir unexpressive behind Great. Swell overhead. Swell action passes between Great & Choir. Swell shutters are horizontal. The Pedal 16' Open Diapason is on a diatonic chest at the rear of the case with the tallest pipes at the outsides. The other three Pedal ranks are on chromatic slider chests at the sides with the tallest pipes at the rear. Many of the reed trebles are bell gamba trebles. The Pedal 8' Violoncello is a bell gamba. The Swell 16' Bourdon Bass is outside the swellbox. The organ was rebuilt with a few tonal modifications and some mechanical alterations by John D. Brennan of Reading, MA in 1913. -Database Manager
