2015-04-18 - Updated through online information from scot huntington. -- The Marion Baptist Church had C.E. Morey No. 208, 1904. In 1975, the Presbyterian and Baptist congregations merged, possibly using the Baptist building, and was re-christened the New Horizon Baptist Church. In 2015, there is no longer any church of this name or denomination in Marion, although there is a United Church which contains the façade at least, of an older organ. <br>Opus 287 was sold in 1991 to the Episcopal Church of the Good Shepherd in Webster, N.Y., and with their construction of a new and larger sanctuary including a new organ in 2000, the organ was relocated through the Organ Clearing House to the Diamond Hill United Methodist Church, Cos Cob, Ct. and installed there by David Wallace & Co. -Database Manager
