2021-02-01 - In the last week of January, 2021, I began service as Interim Organist at Mount Calvary. Prior to starting, I noted the lack of a stoplist on the database. During an early practice session I investigated the organ's resources in order to provide an update. The console is located adjacent to the choir on the main floor in the left rear of the sanctuary. The organ itself is located in a shallow balcony at the rear of the sanctuary. The balcony is not used for seating -- it only houses the organ. I have uploaded pictures of the pipes and the chancel. A plaque on the organ indicates the original instrument as 8 ranks in 1985, with 5 ranks added in 1997, and 10 more ranks added in 2001. The stoplist I submitted is the current disposition. I do not know the stoplist for the previous two versions of the organ. The 2001 re-working also included adding MIDI resources, but I have not investigated those. -David A Hendricksen

The Pedal 16' Rohr Gedeckt takes its 8' range from Sw. 8' Holz Gedackt,
and the treble from the 4' Rohrflute. Similarly, the Pedal 8' Bass Flute
takes the bottom 12 notes from the Sw. 8' Holz Gedackt, and the treble
from the Rohrflute.
