2018-02-22 - This entry describes an original installation of a new pipe organ. <br>Identified by Steven Bartley, citing information from this publication: Evening Star, Washington DC, 11/28/1888 pg6.<br>Renovation to church interior, Organ platform rear of pulpit added, <br>The new organ includes case front of cherry and dark wood veneers of birch.<br>Organ built by Wilson Reiley, 16 wide, 22 tall, 6-6" deeo. Organ contains double acting combination pedals, Jaque water motor, 1171 speaking pipes. The maker of the organ is a Washington young man, son of McKendree Reiley, of the ME Church and was built in Georgetown DC.<br>This building has been demolished. Congregation built new building 4900 Connecticut Ave NW in 1931, -Database Manager
