2018-02-22 - This entry describes an original installation of a new pipe organ. <br>Identified by Steven Bartley, citing information from this publication: Washington Evening Star March 22, 1898, Page 3; Boyd's Washington City Directory 1896.<br>The Evening Star article says little other than the new "pipe organ" was from Kimball organ Co of Chicago. <br>A notice in the Evening Times on the following day announced the organ and concert. <br>The Ebenezer congregation moved to a new building outside the city. The present congregation "Christ the King, Anglican" houses a Wahl organ. The building has been maintained with little changes. -Database Manager
