Notes

2018-03-12 - This entry describes a new home for an organ that was relocated without either tonal or mechanical changes.
Identified by James R. Stettner, listing this website as a source of information: https://pipeorgandatabase.org/OrganDetails.php?OrganID=5091.
According to notes on the OHS Database for the Barnegat United Methodist Church in Barnegat, New Jersey - the church was sold and is now the St. Mary and St. Paula Coptic Orthodox Church. The new church does not use music in its services and made the instrument available for sale. Richard Hamar, Adam Kowal and Stephen T. Roberts removed the organ for shipment to Bolivia in July 2010 and placed it in storage in Connecticut. )
A subsequent post to PIPORG-L May 28, 2011 by Stephen Roberts stated, "We are also sending the II/9 1884 Hook and Hastings that we removed from a church in Barnegat, NJ, last summer [to Bolivia]. That organ will be installed next year in a new church in Plan 3000, a very poor barrio of Santa Cruz. This project has been sponsored through donations from all 7 Connecticut AGO chapters, plus the NYC chapter, and some private individuals." The facade pipes were repainted by a local artisan using colors researched and selected by Susan Tattershall. -Database Manager
