2018-04-03 - Core of the organ is Wurlitzer Op. 1632 (1927), a 2/8 Style 190. In 1946, the organ was acquired by Paul Williamson and became the basis of his residence organ in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. After Mr. Williamson died in 2004, the organ was acquired to become the nucleus for the organ in the McKinney Performing Arts Center. The North Texas Chapter of the ATOS reworked the organ, restoring parts as necessary, and adding additional ranks to increase its size to 3 manuals and 17 ranks. Dallas Organ Works, LLC, created missing components. The 3 manual console is from Wurlitzer Opus 2071 (1929) that was built for the First Baptist Church of Dothan, Alabama. -Database Manager
