2018-04-08 - The organ was severely damaged in the 1994 Northridge earthquake. Williamson-Warne & Associates were engaged to rebuild the instrument. During the rebuild the organ was completely disassembled, all components were cleaned, releathered and the earthquake damage repaired. All pipework was repaired and re-voiced to match the undamaged pipework. The organ blower and power supplies were replaced with new units. The console was completed rebuilt utilizing a new solid-state combination action and multiplex action and all new stop components and pistons. Williamson-Warne & Associates also was responsible for repairing and painting (to the original color) the grills in front of the organ chamber (it is interesting to note that the grills were constructed from rare Cuban Mahogany, which have been covered in paint for years). -Database Manager
