2018-04-22 - Organ acquired from a former Episcopal Church in Jerome, Arizona, then in storage in Williams. Dr. John Stilley, a local dentist who was organist at the church for nearly 40 years, used this organ as the core of a new instrument. With the assistance of Phoenix organbuilder Marvin Anderson, the organ was expanded with pipes and materials from various sources. The organ's "Baroque" division, Chimes, and much of the electrical system were vandalized in July 1962. Ongoing restoration and rehabilitation of the unique organ has included the replacement of the original Austin console in 2004, together with a new division of pipes and restoration of the Reuter trumpet. Further restoration and additions to the organ await future funding. -Database Manager
