2018-05-01 - This organ was built as a "Convention Portable Organ" with hinged case panels and a chassis on wheels. In 1958, the organ was sold to and installed at Zoar Lutheran Church, Elmwood Park, Illinois, as the builder's Opus 3873. When the Elmwood Park congregation closed, St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Union Grove, Wisconsin, acquired the organ and contracted Fabry, Inc., to move the organ. Fabry installed a new Peterson relay, and built a new swell box enclosure, plus new casework. -Database Manager
