2024-05-02 - I bought the Barton organ in the early 80’s. The console was destroyed in the 1937 flood That ended the use of the organ. The left chamber had a three rank chest holding a concert flute, large scale open diapason and a Vdo. The right chamber had a four rank chest that had rotted and fell down. It had a kinura, tibia, vdo celeste and box humana. Unfortunately all pipes in this chamber was reduced to scrap due a leaking roof. Water was dripping when I was there. The left chamber had a very compact relay indicating a small stop list on the console. The Glock. Had been broken up and was found in the basement. The rack board were used above the stained glass ceiling to support the stage arch. The left chamber has the signature of the Barton installers and dated. I left both set of shutters due to curtains in front of them were so dry rotted, I was afraid they would fall if touched. They were still showing movies at this time.
