2018-11-05 - This entry describes an original installation of a new pipe organ.
Identified by Scot Huntington, citing information from this publication: Schlicker opus list..
The organ was installed in a third-floor practice room of the Dorothy Dickson Darte Center for the Performing Arts. The organ case was Schlicker's "institutional blond oak" finish, cost $12,150 (an increase of $4,400- 58%!- over the identical instrument installed just 3 years previously), and was installed by Wally Guzowski after being shipped on February 25, 1976.
