ACTION: E-P unit VOICES: 4 STOPS: 26 RANKS: 4 PIPES: 316 NOTES The church was originally founded as First United Presbyterian Church. The present building was built in 1922. The organ is installed in a single expressive chamber at the front of the church. The console sits in fixed position, center in the choir loft with the organist facing the chamber. According to the Balcom and Vaughan opus list, this organ was a used, 2-manual, 4-rank Robert Morton theatre organ, but its provenance was not listed. The Heilig Theatre in Tacoma contained a 2-4, 1927 Robert Morton whose disposition is unknown. Perhaps this is that instrument. The 8' Dulciana was new pipework when added in 1945 – probably in place of an original Vox Humana. The underside of the block for 8' CC of the Flute says, “Tibia Style 49 #6 3030.” In 2018, the church underwent a renovation for which the church sought to remove the organ which had not been used regularly since the 1990's.
