2019-02-02 - The organ was originally built by Pilcher in 1924. Three ranks were replaced and a new Reuter console installed by Geisler in 1961. Geisler added additional stops and a zimbelstern in 1973. In 1992, the organ was rebuilt by Range Organ Company, and work included a new organ case built by Denney Organ Works. Range also installed a different, used console (appears to be originally a Schantz console) in 1999. The work by Dr. Jason Alden included replacement of the failing reeds in each division, the addition of 3 ranks to form a new Choir division, and rewiring to allow the organist to select sounds from a variety of divisions. The new pipes were made by A. R. Schopp's. -Database Manager
