Notes

2019-04-22 - This entry describes an original installation of a new pipe organ.
Identified by David Lenington, who gave this as the source of the information: James W. Guyer, W. W. KIMBALL COMPANY AS ORGAN BUILDERS: THEIR HISTORY, INSTRUMENTS & LEGACY, Doctoral Dissertation, Indiana University, 2016..
-Database Manager

2025-03-06 - Building has housed several theaters over the years. Currently, it is "The Ritz". Auditorium has been modified numerous times and was used for Vaudeville, movies, plays and now bands. Organ was removed many years ago. First (main) floor is now shops & businesses. The former balcony and upper portion of the theater including the stage is what remains and is still being used. Building shown in photo was likely torn down and not just remodeled before Comerford/Ritz was built according to historic records. Information received online from Jim Tartella on 2025-03-01 -Paul R. Marchesano
