2019-05-01 - This entry describes a new home for an organ that was relocated without either tonal or mechanical changes. <br>Identified by David Lenington, listing conversations with this person as the source of the information: Dr. Judy Congdon.<br>1. The builder's name, Midmer-Losh, was provided by Dr. Judy Congdon. The Midmer-Losh <br> organ probably was a used instrument when it wasinstalled at Houghton Wesleyan Church <br> in 1935. <br>2. The 1935 date is from the April 26, 1935 issue of The Houghton Star.<br>3. The organ was rebuilt by Gene Burmaster in the 1970s per Dean Liddick. <br>4. The organ was removed when the new James Louder organ was installed in 2008.<br>5. The pipes were relocated to Lima Presbyterian Church in Lima NY, where they were <br> combined with a small organ that had been in storage per Dr. Judy Congdon. The <br> enlarged organ at Lima Presbyterian Church was dedicated in 2018.
