Notes

2004-10-30 - From Clynes residence, Palisades. [On Roosevelt list at Henry E. Lawrence residence, Palisades, NY.] -Database Manager

2014-07-29 - Updated through online information from Scot Huntington. -- Originally listed as the Peter Schwartz residence; when I repaired the instrument in 2001 the property was under different ownership, and the current owners wished their identity kept private. This is an original installation in a chamber on the north side of the formal parlor, the east wall being windows looking out over the Hudson River, the west wall an entry off the formal dining room, and the south wall is an entry off the formal foyer. The façade pipes are decorated with bands of color and gold, original; oak casework. The layout of the façade and casework appearance is identical to the Elbridge Gerry instrument, Lake Delaware, New York, now located at the Lake Delaware Boys Camp.<br>Except for the installation of an electric blower many years ago, the organ is otherwise in original, unaltered condition. The pumping handle and telltale is located in a small closet next to the organ chamber, accessed from the hallway. -Database Manager
