Notes

2019-06-03 - This entry describes an original installation of a new pipe organ. Identified by James R. Stettner, listing this web site as a source of information: https://www.eastoregonian.com/news/local/congregation-sells-historic-church-and-moves-out/article_1a861a5c-816d-11e9-b476-7ffc0ae11d55.html?fbclid=IwAR2z2lfpIDhNON_Vkvvj2kCgRhQ8eYQZQN0nY0bgTjzyPIgcMAZsDXnQp1w. Wayne Warren shared an online news story on Facebook Organist Association about the church being sold with its original, unaltered Kimball tubular-pneumatic pipe organ. Organ builder Lanny Hochhalter identified it as a Hedgeland Kimball, also adding that it had been restored by organ builder Frans W.M. Bosman of Mosier, Oregon. -Database Manager

NOTES
The organ is free-standing and encased at the front. The 5-sectional stenciled façade
contains 37 pipes arranged: 7-5-13-5-7. The keydesk is attached and projecting with a
lid that lifts to form a music rack. The stops are as drawknobs on either side of the
manuals. The couplers are also as drawknobs, placed over the top manual. The organ was
reportedly restored by Frans W.M. Bosman of Mosier, Oregon at an undocumented date.
