Notes

2019-06-04 - This entry describes an original installation of a new pipe organ.
Identified by James R. Stettner, citing information from this publication: The American Organist, Vol. & No. unrecorded - a Boston Convention issue.
The church was also known as "The New North Church." The Steere & Turner replaced a 2-manual, 1827 Appleton whose subsequent disposition is unknown. The Steer & Turner was reportedly later electrified. It was removed in 1965 when the building was acquired by the Catholic Diocese to become St. Stephen's, and the Bullfinch building was completely restored by Cardinal Richard Cushing. -Database Manager
