2010-11-05 - Updated through online information from Ryan J Boyle. -- The instrument was "rebuilt" by Sid Chase, 1966. The original pedal chest was discarded and new EP unit chests were added to allow the pedal Sub Bass to be played a multiple pitches. The draw stop action was replaced with electric rocker tablets and a setter board in the chamber. The wooden trackers were replaced with aluminum. Original reservoir discarded and replaced with smaller OSI reservoirs. Pipework is unaltered, less tuning collars, and is in very good condition. Case pipes likely repainted professionally (they are bright silver automotive style paint), but I can't find affirmative records to this extent, it's just an educated assumption. The instrument is in regular use. -Database Manager
