2019-09-19 - The write-up in the January 1966 issue of THE DIAPASON says: The Beiber Pipe Organ Co., McFarland, California, completed the installation of a 54-rank 4-manual pipe organ in Whittier Christian Church, rebuilding, tonally redesigning and enlarging the instrument. The completed organ has 60 ranks with 61 speaking stops. Beiber redesigned and enlarged the tonal structure of the organ and revoiced the pipes. The chests and action were rebuilt by Beiber. The organ was dedicated by a recital on February 27, 1966, by Robert Prichard, who was a consultant. -Database Manager
