2020-01-12 - This entry describes an original installation of a new pipe organ.
Identified by Steven Bartley, citing information from this publication: Baltimore Sun paper. Dec 7, 1903 pg 8.
The article give some details about the newly built church, seating 250, and in an Adirondack Arts & Crafts style, being made of stone, and its main auditorium, octagonal in shape. The organ was replaced or rebuilt by Moller in 1930. In 1960 the building was enlarged with a divided chancel, and center aisle. At that time a twelve rank Wicks organ was installed. An interesting aside, Baltimore saw only a few Kimball organ installations, one of about 10 ranks, in the Roland Park Methodist church, which appeared in the Sun Paper Sun Papers 1/5/1904 pg7; 11/7/1904 pg12; -Database Manager
