Notes

2024-10-05 - We tuned the organ at Saint-Lambert Church on Lorne Street on October 2, 2024. I confirm that the Casavant organ is no longer in this church. It is a 13-stop Odilon Jacques organ. No part of the Casavant organ remains. The Odilon Jacques organ was built in the late '40s. Fully functional, but in need of complete restoration. Information received online from Daniel Laliberte on 2024-10-03 [ed.: There are the same number of ranks as the Casavant from 1944 and many same stop names. This may have been a rebuild [new chests?] after some problem or disaster. No documentation suggests this, but the organs have been linked to follow the history. It seems highly unlikely that the Casavant failed in less than 5 years.] -Paul R. Marchesano
