2020-07-06 - Schmidt was the organist at St. Mary's Church in Stockton. According to the Stockton Daily Evening Mail for December 1, 1882 "Felix Schoenstein has constructed and delivered to Proffesor Schmidt a pedal pipe organ for his own use. It is 9' 10" high, 7' wide, has two stops and is so arranged that an upright piano is placed beside it and the two are played together, the organ with the right hand and the piano with the left."
