2020-10-01 - Andrew Schaeffer on July 23, 2020: Originally installed at Norwood Park Lutheran Church, Chicago, in 1976; the parish closed in 2018 and the building was sold to a nondenominational church that did not wish to keep the Casavant organ. The instrument was subsequently sold to St. Stephen the Martyr in Greendale, Wisconsin. The congregation that purchased the Chicago property insisted that the façade stay, since it was integral to the chancel design. Ericksen, Christian & Associates of Chicago moved the organ to its new home in Wisconsin, added a new Syndyne control system, and commissioned the Reuter Organ Company to construct a new façade in the spirit of the original. Installation was completed in July, 2020. -Jeff Scofield
2022-10-12 - The organ was (re)dedicated on Sunday, October 11, 2022 by Dr. Andrew Schaeffer. -Jim Stettner
