2020-11-09 - From the NYC AGO NYC Organ Project: This Schlicker organ was built in 1956 for St. Matthew Lutheran Church in Manhattan. The organ became available in July 2006 when the church (along with the whole block) was slated to be closed and torn down to make way for new condominiums. Elsener Organ Works of Deer Park, N.Y., moved and reinstalled the organ. -Jeff Scofield
