2020-12-09 - The organ is described in the Steere ledger No. 2 found in the American Organ Archives. A 2020 photo on Facebook showing part of the chancel being decorated for Christmas shows an organ case fronting a chancel chamber having a pipe fence of gold pipes, no woodwork above the impost, and an attached keydesk. Unfortunately, the lid is closed so it can't be determined from the photo if the console is of this organ, or a later instrument. The contract was signed May 18, 1895 for installation on September 1st of that year. The price was $1,400.00. -Scot Huntington
