Steere & Turner [John S. Steere] (1886)

Cedar Grove Cemetery
Broad Street
New London, CT

Notes

2024-04-03 - Rocklawn Memorial Chapel, listed as the specific installation of this organ in the Steere ledger book, apparently does not and did not exist at this cemetery -- in fact it has been impossible to find a chapel with this name in further research. There was an estate named "Rocklawn" in the area. In any case, the entry in the ledger is headed: "Specification for an Organ For Rocklawn Memorial Chapel, F. L. Chopin, Esq., New London, Conn. By Steer and Turner, Springfield, Mass." -Paul R. Marchesano
