2021-01-03 - A large and imposing wood church was constructed and dedicated in 1882 with the meeting room on the second floor. The building was torn down in 1982 after the congregation had begun meeting in the fellowship room on the first floor, after the upstairs meeting room had become unstable. The Steere & Turner was long gone by the time of the demolition, its ultimate disposition unknown. The contract was signed Jan. 1, 1886 with the organ to be finished just 6 weeks later by Feb. 16, 1886. -Scot Huntington
