2021-01-09 - The Balcom and Vaughan Installation List by institution/denomination indicates that the console was rebuilt. The provenance of the Wirlitzer organ was not listed. Cost of the project was $4,600.00. -Jim Stettner
2021-01-09 - The Puget Sound Theatre Organ Society website has revealed that the Wurlitzer was originally built for the Weir Theatre in Aberdeen, Washington as a style 185 in 1920. It was next in Tacoma, Washington's King Roller Rink before coming to the Stern residence. The Wurlitzer console was enlarged to 3-manuals by Balcom and Vaughan. The organ was sold in the mid 1990's to Bob Otey and disbursed for parts. The Tibia and 16' Bourdons (redwood) went to Russ & Jo Ann Evans of Kenmore, Washington for their residence organ. The console was purchased by Bob Zat of Seattle and later sold to an individual in Australia. -Jim Stettner
