2021-01-11 - The contract was signed March 3, 1887 to be finished by June 4 of that year, and the organ cost $1500.00. There is no longer a Methodist church in Lima, although there are "Old" and "New" Methodist cemeteries within the town limits. It is possible there may have been an historic church building, no longer extant, associated with one or the other. Further investigation is needed to determine the fate of the building and the organ. -Scot Huntington
