2021-01-14 - The landmark church was completed in 1955 and closed in 2007; it was sold in 2009 for use as a recording studio and auditorium, a project that never came to fruition; it was sold again in 2015, but the new owner eventually abandoned the building; due to the serious deterioration of the building, it was due to be demolished by the local government in 2021. Soon after the church closed the organ was relocated to Eglise Christ-Roi in Chicoutimi. -Jeff Scofield
