Notes

2021-01-14 - According to *The Organ List* website sponsored by the Twin Cities A.G.O. Chapter, the organ was installed at Zion Lutheran in Hopkins, MN. in 1951 and was reportedly designed by Paul Manz. It was in a chancel chamber and originally 9 ranks per the Wicks opus list. At some point it was enlarged to 18 ranks. It was replaced in 1975 by a much larger Van Daalen in the rear gallery, and the Wicks was placed in storage. Around 2000 it was installed at St. Peter Lutheran Church in Afton, Minnesota by Gerry Orvold. At the time the Wicks was installed, the church's existing 3-rank Moller Artiste was reconfigured as a non-expressive antiphonal, bringing the grand total to 21 ranks. -Jim Stettner
