2021-01-23 - According to the church website, the organ was installed when the building was constructed in 1886. It remained in place until replaced by a Schantz organ in the 1960s. q.v. The 1886 organ facade was not retained. At the same time, the Victorian interior was eliminated in favor of a modern design. As of 2021 the congregation is known as First United Methodist Church, Geneva, and remains in this building. -William Dunklin
