Notes

2021-01-28 - Identified through online information from Jayson Engquist. -- After the organ was removed from its original home in the Fairmont Opera House it was placed in several churches in Iowa and Texas. It was last in the Maytag Family farm in Iowa before it was re-acquired by the Fairmont Opera House. It sat in storage in the basement for some +/- 25 years before the Board decided not to re-install it. New air conditioning ducts had been installed through the original chambers. That's when the organ was acquired by local organ technician Mr. Brown. -Jim Stettner
