2021-02-21 - Contract signed July 8, 10-8 for delivery October 1, 1908; organ cost $1,500.00. There is no longer a Methodist church in Castile, and so far I have not discovered when it closed or how the building and contents were disposed. An antique 1911 postcard of the church shows a brick church with a tower in the style of an Italianate campanile. The organ had mechanical action to the manuals and tubular-pneumatic to the pedals, and the bellows feeders were powered by water motor. -Scot Huntington
