2021-03-02 - Identified in a report in *The Allentown Democrat,* 10 May 1899, Page 2. The church..."last winter entered into a contract with Durner, the great pipe organ builder from Quakertown, for placing a large instrument in the edifice, and all the parts having been completed they were delivered last week, and the work of setting up the organ is now in progress. It has 21 stops and 6 combination pedals to perate the draw stops for making various and pleasing combinations. There are 27 notes in the pedal and balanced swell pedal, which operates the vertical shades of the swell organ. The front pipes are all speaking, and richly decorated in gold, silver and colors, while the casing is of Gothic style and finished in white and gold, to correspond with the pulpit and altar of the church. The organist's keydesk is extended over 10 feet from the organ so as to allow room for the choir, the organist facing the congregation. The tone of the whole organ promises to be very fine, and the workmanshop throughout is of the highest order." -Paul R. Marchesano
