Unenclosed chimes were located on the chancel’s left (Gospel) side, in a chamber; the organ’s remainder was located on the chancel’s right (Epistle) side, in a chamber. Facing the nave, both chambers are behind ornamental grills. Exempting the chimes, the organ was enclosed in one swellbox. The pipes faced, and spoke towards, not the chamber’s opening, but the chamber’s left wall. [Submitted by Dr. Ronald Swedlund; April 10, 2021] [Formatted by James R. Stettner; April 10, 2021]
