Notes

2021-04-12 - Jan Van Daalen Manuals: 2 Stops: 8 Ranks: 8 Action: Mechanical Notes: Originally built for Larey Swanson's father's home in Wayzata, on Lake Minnetonka, in a music room (first photo). When he died, Larey and her husband Craig sold the house and needed to move the organ out. Timing was perfect for moving it across the lake to Trinity Episcopal Church in Excelsior. Trinity was getting a new organ, and parts of their old Moller were being used in it and had been removed, so the church was without an organ and would be for over a year. The little organ was set up at Trinity and used by the church -- while Swansons built a new house and Trinity's new organ was being constructed. It was moved to a music room in Swanson's new house. In 2017 the house was sold and the organ was donated and moved to Gustavus Adolphus College, St. Peter. -- November, 2017, David Engen -Jayson Engquist
