2021-04-16 - After a one-time high of 1,700 members, the church closed in June 2011 with the few remaining members joining Jaggard UMC to form First Jaggard United Methodist Church. The 1907 First Church facilities were sold to Center City Church and re-dedicated by them in November 2020. -Jeff Scofield
2024-04-16 - The 1968 Wicks Organ is no longer in this building. Cannarsa Pipe Organs removed the instrument and sold it to another church when the United Methodist Church disbanded. -Kevin M. Clemens
