Notes

2021-04-21 - Placard says 14 ranks. After reading church history, 3 were added since then, confirmed at the console by playing through each stop to check. -Sam Wessel

2024-11-20 - This organ will be refurbished by Berghaus in 2025. Included is cleaning, repairs, and a new solid state system using the existing console. The organ was never known to be revoiced since it was built, and many pipes are speaking poorly due to age, so extensive voicing will occur to restore its original sound. No stop list or visual changes. Information received online from Sam Wessel on 2024-09-25 -Paul R. Marchesano

2024-11-21 - The placard on the organ says 14 ranks. According to the Church website: "On November 7, 1965 a 15 rank Wicks pipe organ made possible as gifts from the Caroline Schoenfeld estate and other donations was dedicated to God's glory. Since then, we have added two manual ranks and a pedal rank." It is likely that the Swell Hautbois, Pedal Subbass, and Swell Viola Celeste were added later as the font on the stop tabs is slightly different. The swell box is located in the gallery to the left of a tudor window and the great is located to the right of the window, with pedal stops being located in both cases. The detached console is in front of the swell box. -- Sam Wessel; 2021-04-19 -Paul R. Marchesano
