2021-08-26 - A brief paragraph in the *Minor Local Mentions* column of the *Cincinnati Daily Star*, Friday evening, November 28, 1879, reported the building of this organ: "Messrs. Koehnken & Grimm are building an organ for the First Unitarian Church, corner of Plum and Eighth streets. The instrument is to have two manuals and a pedal keyboard, sixteen speaking stops and 745 pipes."
