2021-07-17 - The presence of an organ here is known only through one old newspaper account that speaks of the old synagogue building being vandalized by vagrants in the mid-20th century after the present synagogue was erected at 3901 Shoal Creek Blvd. The account stated the building was broken into "and the organ pipes looted;" therefore, it is inferred that the organ was abandoned when the congregation moved. -Rev.
